The tournament, set to take place from 23 July to 2 August 2026, will see South Africa compete under Team South Africa rather than the SPAR Proteas branding, as all sporting codes fall under SASCOC’s overall stewardship during the Games.
After months of planning, selection meetings, and performance assessment across domestic and international competitions, the final squad reflects a blend of experience, versatility, and emerging talent.

A lot of time and diligence has gone into the selection process to ensure we consider all our options and select players who fit the game plan, objectives, and mandate of the assignment,” she said.
The squad includes players based both locally and abroad, reflecting the growing global footprint of South African netball talent.
