The Ultimate Showdown: Top 12 nations confirmed for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Netball

World Netball (WN) and Glasgow 2026 have revealed the 12 nations set to compete in the Commonwealth Games Netball tournament, running from 25 July to 2 August 2026 at the iconic Hydro Arena.

Fans can look forward to nine thrilling days, 38 matches, and world-class action on Scottish soil.

The qualified teams are Australia, England, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, and Wales.

Since joining the Commonwealth Games in 1998, netball has become one of the most anticipated events, with Australia’s Diamonds dominating the stage – holding four gold medals and entering Glasgow as the reigning Commonwealth and World Cup champions after their 55–51 win over Jamaica in 2022.

All four UK nations will once again compete, ensuring a vibrant, home-soil atmosphere for Scottish fans. Scottish captain Emily Nicholl said the tournament will be “an unforgettable competition” and “a huge moment for the sport in Scotland.”

World Netball President Dame Liz Nicholl added that the event “continues to showcase the exceptional talent and passion that make netball one of the standout sports at the Games.”
