The series will kick off with two matches at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium on 17 and 19 April, before moving to the DP World Wanderers Stadium for fixtures on 22 and 25 April. The final T20I will be played at Willowmoore Park in Benoni on 27 April.
This series serves as the Proteas Women’s final preparation ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which starts on 12 June in England. South Africa has been drawn in Group 1 alongside Australia, Pakistan, India, and two qualifiers.
CSA Director of High Performance and National Teams, Enoch Nkwe, said the series offers the team a valuable opportunity to test themselves against world-class opposition and fine-tune strategies under pressure.
“Facing India at this stage is exactly what our players need. It will help us assess combinations and readiness ahead of the World Cup,” Nkwe added.

CSA Chief Executive Pholetsi Moseki welcomed India to South Africa, highlighting the importance of hosting top-level international cricket.
“This series brings together two of the best teams in the world and gives South African fans the chance to experience elite women’s cricket on home soil,” Moseki said.
The upcoming T20I series promises intense competition and thrilling cricket action, setting the stage for an exciting build-up to the World Cup in England.
