They defeated South Africa’s Banyana Banyana 2–1 in a thrilling final to claim their first-ever title in the tournament.
The Brave Gladiators showed great determination, coming from behind to secure victory and end South Africa’s dominance in the competition. This historic win is a proud moment for Namibia and highlights the growth of women’s football in the region.

Several players were also recognised for their outstanding performances during the tournament. Namibia’s Zenatha Coleman was named Player of the Tournament (Golden Ball), while her teammate Melissa Matheus received the Golden Glove award for being the best goalkeeper. The Golden Boot for top scorer went to Rutendo Makore, and South Africa received the Fair Play Award.
