Everton sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in Big-Money Move from Chelsea

Everton have bolstered their midfield with the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea, adding further strength to David Moyes' squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

The 26-year-old has penned a five-year deal with the Merseyside club. The transfer is reportedly worth an initial twenty-four million pounds, with an additional three to four million pounds potentially payable in performance-related bonuses.

Dewsbury-Hall becomes the Toffees’ fifth new arrival of the current transfer window, following the signings of Charly Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, and Adam Aznou.

Clearly excited about the next chapter in his career, Dewsbury-Hall shared his thoughts on the move:

“I’m genuinely thrilled to be here. My family feels the same  there’s a real sense that this is the right move at the right time. That feeling alone pushes me to work harder, prove myself, and contribute to something special at Everton.

The supporters are known across the country for their passion. I know that if I perform and give everything, the fans will get behind me  and that kind of energy can only lift the team higher.”

Manager David Moyes welcomed the new signing with enthusiasm, noting both Dewsbury-Hall’s quality and his proven experience in England’s top flight:

“We’re delighted to bring Kiernan to Goodison Park. He had offers from elsewhere, but he was drawn to the ambition and challenge we have here at Everton.

His skill set and knowledge of the Premier League will be a huge asset. We’re looking forward to working with him, and I know the fans will give him the warmest of welcomes.”
